This is the back of one of my pieces.
This was one of my earlier work this year. Now I have advanced farther into my more recent stuff. This has a lot of contrast between the light and dark clay.

This is the main concept of my work. I made this from a mold of my wife's legs when we were in college together.

This is an upside down torso from a mold of my wife.
My latest piece
This is the beginning of a new piece I'm working on. I'm going to try to make this piece 6 ft. tall. I took a full body cast of my daughter who is 16 for this piece.

Cool piece Leland. I, for one, would love to read more about your thinking/feeling behind your work. Great blog title :) BTW - we'll be in Utah by the end of the month.
